Short version: We collect your name, email, and diagnostic responses to generate your career report. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. You can request deletion at any time.
1. What We Collect
When you use Career Blueprint, we collect:
Registration data — your name and email address, provided voluntarily when you start the diagnostic.
Diagnostic responses — your answers to the 43-question psychometric assessment (OCEAN personality sliders, RIASEC interest selections, life priority axes, and financial inputs).
Payment reference — the UPI transaction ID you provide to confirm payment. We do not collect or store card numbers, bank account details, or any other financial credentials.
Usage data — basic session information to identify your report and enable delivery.
2. How We Use Your Data
To generate your personalised career intelligence report using the Claude AI (Anthropic) API.
To deliver your report to your registered email address via Resend.
To provide you with a persistent report link valid for 30 days.
To maintain internal records for order reconciliation and customer support.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling for third parties, or automated decision-making beyond report generation.
3. Data Storage
All data is stored in Cloudflare D1 (SQLite database hosted on Cloudflare's edge infrastructure).
Data is retained for a maximum of 24 months from the date of your diagnostic session.
After 24 months, diagnostic responses and personal details are deleted. Order records are retained for 7 years for financial compliance purposes (name and email only, no diagnostic data).
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Career Blueprint:
Anthropic (Claude API) — your diagnostic scores are sent to Anthropic's API to generate your report. Anthropic does not retain API inputs for training. See anthropic.com/privacy.
Resend — used to send your report email. Your email address and report content are processed by Resend. See resend.com/privacy.
GitHub Pages — hosts the Career Blueprint web interface. No personal data is collected by GitHub from this service. See GitHub Privacy Statement.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate data.
Delete your data (right to erasure). Upon request, we will delete your name, email, and all diagnostic responses within 7 days.
Withdraw consent at any time — note that withdrawal after report generation does not affect the report already produced.

6. Data Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS.
The admin dashboard is protected by an access key known only to the operator.
No diagnostic data is publicly accessible. Report links are unique, 32-character tokens — not guessable by enumeration.
We do not store passwords. There are no user accounts.
7. Children's Privacy
Career Blueprint is designed for students aged 15 and above making higher education decisions. If you are under 15, please ask a parent or guardian to complete the diagnostic on your behalf. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and — where possible — notify users by email. Continued use of Career Blueprint after changes constitutes acceptance.
